Ipoá
A project that promotes access, education, and healthcare in a remote region through connectivity.

The IPOÁ REDD+ Project, located in the municipality of Nova Aripuanã, Amazonas, encompasses both unplanned (AUD) and planned (APD) deforestation avoidance.
Its main objective is to protect a portion of the Amazon Rainforest to reduce CO₂ emissions and conserve biodiversity. Three traditional communities live within the project zone, and their livelihoods rely mainly on chestnut harvesting, small-scale farming, and the extraction of copaíba and timber for subsistence.
