The Caapii REDD+ Project is located in the state of Pará, covering the municipalities of Paragominas, Ipixuna do Pará e Tomé-Açu

 Its goal is to prevent the deforestation of 33,766 hectares of the Amazon Forest, thereby avoiding the release of greenhouse gases responsible for global warming and accelerating climate change.
