“Most of the Amazon rainforest lies within Brazilian territory, which gives us a responsibility to create projects that ensure its preservation.”

Protecting the Amazon rainforest must be a life mission. I say this not only as a forest engineer, but in recognition of the biodiversity that exists there and its importance to the planet’s future.

Brazil currently sits at the center of global environmental discussions. A desertification process is underway, and over 17% of the region’s original forest cover has already been destroyed.
